Monday 16th July.

Today we started the new topic of Australia to 1914 and began by completing an activity that sequences the major events that occurred in Australia up until Federation. The class then matched the appropriate caption to the picture. See worksheets below.

Today we continued looking at the Living Conditions in Australia. The class used the information learnt from their topics to create a mind map about the different aspects of life during the late 19th and early 20th Centuries.

The class then used this mind map to write a letter to a friend in England, explaining the living conditions in Australia. Complete the plan/draft in workbook and write a good copy on the paper below.
